Bathroom tile design is something that few people think about. As a matter of fact, few people think about bathroom decor very much to begin with. You see, there are some common ideas about bathroom decorating that almost everyone holds. Most people believe that a bathroom should be subdued, relaxed, and sort of nondescript. Just a few months ago, I used some warm, Mediterranean colors to redecorate my bathroom tiles and was surprised at what a drastic difference it made. Everything seemed so upbeat, friendly, and inviting. And this wasn’t even approaching the extent that some people go to when they design bathroom tiles.
When most people think about patterned bathroom tile design, they probably picture the black-and-white checkered pattern that you see in so many institutional settings. In reality, you can do pretty much anything with bathroom tiles. The neat thing about tiles is that so many of them are made in interchangeable sizes and shapes. This means that, if you don’t find any premade bathroom tile designs that you like, you can always come up with your own. You can combine multiple tiles until you get just the perfect layout. Then you can take it home and install it yourself or hire someone to do it for you.
Although all this may still seem simple, the effects it can have are profound. I had a friend who had a pretty well-decorated house with a very boring bathroom. He was trying to sell it, and not having much luck. After several months, he did some minor remodeling including redoing the bathroom tile design. Just by making his bathroom look better, he sold the house successfully in the next three or four weeks ? And for more than he had been asking for originally.
